San Juan County

The project will replace two bridges, Rattlesnake bridge at MP 20, as well as Shiprock bridge at MP 14. Six-to-8-foot shoulders will be added to the new bridges, making them consistent with the rest of the US 64 corridor. 

EL Paso County

Three bridges on North Cheyenne Canyon Road, in North Cheyenne Canon Park, were redesigned and reconstructed. 

El Paso County

Following significant erosion of Cottonwood Creek, Colorado Springs received a FEMA grant to restore the creek. 

Chaves County

​

The project, located in southern New Mexico, will replace a bridge structure located on NM 24 at MP 33 with a concrete box culvert. The project will also reconstruct the roadway surrounding the structure.

Pueblo County

​

Reconstruct Nichols Road from the McCulloch Intersection to the bridge, including intersection widening. 

Sandoval County

​

The project, located on US 550 near Cuba will replace an aging bridge structure located at MP 64, as well as reconstruct the roadway around the bridge. The project is anticipated to take a year to complete.
