We are seeking a motivated Senior Heavy Highway Civil Project Manager and Estimator. FULL HEALTH, DENTAL, VISION BENEFITS WITH COMPANY PAID PREMIUMS (100% for you and 50% your dependents) Project Management Experience a MUST. We specialize in heavy highway bridge and roadway construction, water resources, design/build engineering and construction.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum 10 years in the construction industry

  • Must have prior project experience as Project Manager on jobs $10M+

  • Must have good references from: previous Owner & Employer

  • Must be a resident of the United States

Responsibilities 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

including but not limited to:

  • Working directly with company owners

  • Attend and participate in various meetings

  • Communicate with Superintendents, Foremen, and Project Managers on crew

  • efficiencies and forecasting additional labor, material, or equipment as needed

  • Manage material and quantity takeoffs

  • Manage solicitation of material quotes and proposals

  • Review and comprehend construction drawings

  • Review and comprehend soil reports

  • Manage the preparation of project submittals

  • Manage the preparation of pay estimates

  • Review and comprehend contracts

  • Manage the preparation of subcontracts

  • Prepare change orders

  • Manage and oversee project schedule

  • Identify risks and problems

  • Develop and provide possible solutions

  • Oversee project management office

  • Ensure project management office represents the Siete, Inc. brand

  • Perform other duties as assigned


Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Longevity in the industry

  • Successful management of complex projects

  • Proven ability to delegate appropriately

  • Demonstrated skill at handling challenging relationships diplomatically

  • Willingness and availability to listen and provide appropriate guidance

  • Track record of profitability and maintenance of schedules

  • Strong math skills

  • Estimating experience

  • Ability to manage and lead others

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer/vendor service skills

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software

  • Proficient with HCSS, AGTEK, AUTOCAD, or similar software

  • Must be comfortable interacting with individuals from all levels of the company

  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving history

Salary

  •  $150,000 to $225,000 annually (based on experience)

  • Full time position

  • Occasional weekend availability
